I am not sure if it was a pick up line.. but some guy asked me my name, I answered and he said, oh, I thought it was Lucy..

When I worked at a pet store there was a time when two labs had their nails trimmed after they were bought. The nails were cut too close, so they started bleeding. Then the dogs decided to go to the bathroom and spread it all over the small play area room. I was cleaning up the dog blood and feces when a man, older than my father, decided this was his moment to step up from the flirty hints he had been dropping.
He came up as I was cleaning the mess and told me: “I’d fill out a resume to follow you around.”
I told him I didn’t think we weren’t hiring.
I was was in Columbus, Ohio and 20 at the time. I had been told many times that I looked 16 though, and I think that added to the old man’s gross factor.
